Talk to the painter before you head into the booth and tell him if he can detail the car like you want, you'll be happy to graft him a few bucks for helping get you the desired result.

Painted today. Rockers, firewall, & tail light panel get the black treatment Monday. On this day 51 years ago it rolled off the assm line...Joe

Thank you Tim. I was a little stressed. I found out single stage & a HVLP don't react the same way as lacquer & the old style paint gun. Harder to allow factory effects...Joe

There is definitely a difference between many paint products and the guns/pressures used to spray them. The color is looking great and the mix looks spot on Joe.

Very happy for you and cannot wait to see more.
