Actually I'm thinking about paying the painter some cash under the table if they can follow my instructions today. I wish I could paint. I have in my mind exactly how it should look completely painted which is NOT the normal for most people or painters today...Joe

Talk to the painter before you head into the booth and tell him if he can detail the car like you want, you'll be happy to graft him a few bucks for helping get you the desired result.

Painted today. Rockers, firewall, & tail light panel get the black treatment Monday. On this day 51 years ago it rolled off the assm line...Joe

Thank you Tim. I was a little stressed. I found out single stage & a HVLP don't react the same way as lacquer & the old style paint gun. Harder to allow factory effects...Joe

There is definitely a difference between many paint products and the guns/pressures used to spray them. The color is looking great and the mix looks spot on Joe.
Very happy for you and cannot wait to see more.
