Gotta love the rules. Stock appearing from the grandstand. Guess they won't be checking the GM cars for dill caps.

I think I will have to attend this one. Maybe I can finally meet Pantera. What about it, Larry?

What are dill caps? Who's Pantera? Do you have something to bring to race?

Dill caps are the little (correct) caps for your valve stems on your restored Chevy

Pantera is Larry Clain...who lives in Tulsa...and is a great guy.

I'll let Lynn answer the last question...BTW, Lynn, are you any relation to the freestyle skier from Canada that just appeared in the Olympics the other night?

Sorry Wayne:

I should have been more specific. Everyone already figured out who Larry is. He and I are both in OK, but have never met, just corresponded a few times through this site.

Kind of a long running joke on here about dill caps. Sometimes I make fun of the anal side (myself included) of this hobby.

No, I don't have anything to bring to the race, but would just enjoy being around the cars.

Not likely related to the skier. Bilodeau is not a common name in my part of the country, but very common in Canada, with some in the NE US. Name has been around since the 1600's, originating in Quebec. My paternal grandmother was born in Quebec in 1900, moved to New England in 1912.

Still think this would be a great event to attend.
