Default No 502 day?

I saw the tributes to the 426, 427, 428 and 429. And even a 430 Can Am.

No tribute to the 502 crate motor?

Today is 5 02.

It was never installed in a production car. Come to think of it, neither was the 430. Oh well.

----I have to wait a couple of days for 510, as I popped a 30 over 502 (app 510) in my 93 Suburban. Aluminum heads, fast injection, headers, etc. I had it built for torque. HP ended up at 570 and torque was 650 on the dyno. Shortly after finishing I lost the 700R in a rather spectacular manner. Knew it would happen and had a spare ready with every heavy duty part my trans guy could dig up. Good since then, but as it's a low mileage Subby and with the mileage I don't use it much, mostly to the boat ramp,,,LOL. I bought it from a certain fella that bought a Hugger Orange ZL1 Camaro brand new off of a certain Illinois Chevy dealer and has raced it very successfully ever since. I am indebted to him for selling me probably the cleanest 93 Subby left. 1st one guessing who correctly gets a shiny new dime at MCACN in November!...….Bill S
