Original and Day 2 Muscle Car Parts
Hey guys,
Just a heads up, have over 50 auctions on Ebay starting at $9.99 with NO RESERVE at 7PM Pacific Time tonight. All parts are original muscle car parts or era correct day 2 parts. There is a wide variety so there should be something for everyone. Below are pictures of a small sample of the items up for auction. Here is a link to the auctions: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fss...1&LH_Auction=1 I am offering 5% off the final bid amount to paid members of this site on this lot of auctions(10/17/24 start date). If you win any of these auctions, please send me a PM through this site and I will send a revised invoice reflecting the 5% discount. Thanks and happy bidding, Jason |

I was going to bid on an item, but you have these set up for instant, auto pay, so how would I get a discount ? You would need to refund my account.

Mitch, see the details in his initial post here. If you win the item, you send him a PM here and he will send you a revised invoice.

The seller can set their auctions up that way, we have no control over that and the payment is paid by ebay instantly, so getting a revised invoice from Jason won't help, he would need to reimburse our payment source.
I just talked with ebay about this an hour ago.

I don’t know about the instant auto pay. eBay changes their settings so often it is hard to keep up. In my experience, the auto pay is for store listings when someone buys an item and wants it shipped. I’m curious where you see instant payment listed. I have the listings setup to accept money orders as well as having local pickup as an option. That said, eBay changes things so often and when they do it seems hit and miss. If the instant payment is the case, I have no problem sending a refund after payment is received. It just makes things a bit more complicated on my end. It will be interesting to see what happens.
Thanks, Jason Last edited by SuperNovaSS; 10-18-2024 at 02:29 PM. |

The only time I have had autopay lately is when I make an offer and the seller accepts.
Are you saying that the autopay on every auction now? I have not experienced that.

I bid on another sellers 7 day eBay auction last week against 10 other bidders.I placed my bid 1/2 way through the auction, and days later I was still the winner. As soon as it ended,a big clock on top of the closed auction page starting clicking down from 60 minutes telling me that automatic payment would kick in after 60min,or I can click this button next to it and pay right now, which I did.
This was kind of a slap in the face to me,as I always pay pronto.I could understand if only newly signed up bidders see this automatic pay,but not 25 year veteran bidders with a 100% rating. Googled "ebay automatic payment" and read many upset with it too since mid 2023.They say only the seller can request automatic payment, and bidder has no recourse. This is my first time encountering it. Mitch, where do you see the automatic payment stated during any of Jasons auctions?..I just want to know what to look for in the future. |
