Default '61 348ci Impala Bubbletop Project

Looks like this one began life as a 6-cyl Impala, and currently has a non-running 348-6bbl bolted in.

Fairly decent looking project that still has its original TX dealer emblem on the decklid, but not exactly a steal at $20k.

But it IS a bubble top ! It does appear quite nice in the pics but his claim the trunk is good isn't true. There is clearly old bondo filling rust holes on the left side and and the center of the pan.

Apparently it was too much effort to remove the carburetors before painting the engine

I missed that. I was looking at all the bolts missing for the fender to inner wheel house.
