I shoulda known better....
So, I figured if I'm going to tweak and fine tune the Camaro for a Carlisle event in June, I might as well take the hood off. Glad my wife loves me because the hood rests in the study of my house!
Wanting to correct the paint on the fenders near the well liners, I took care of it. I figured while everything was masked off, I might as well correctly over-spray the firewall, right? Oh, put back the original coil of the block replacing the Accel coil. Since I do thing correct, maybe I should finally install that NOS, 309 US stamped master cylinder too. Hell, if I'm here, just do the brakes lines too, right??? If the brakes lines are done, I HAD to strip the years of paint off the axle housing while on my back.......WOW, a BX axle! 4:88 gears from the factory, no long cruises planned for this T400, L72..... Okay, back to the garage....what's next? Clean up the wires......

Re: I shoulda known better....
Looking great!
If BX is original to the vehicle this would be a Copo 9511 car. You probably know this already but for '69 only regardless of engine a Copo 9511 order was required to get the factory installed rear axle w/ 4:56 or 4:88. ~ Pete

Re: I shoulda known better....
The BX is original to the car, BWAG here ordered the car in October of 68. He worked at Schmidt Chevrolet in Perrysburg, OH. Tell me more about this COPO 9511....

Keep up the great work. Just makes it even more desirable than it was previously. Some day........
