Default 1973 type LT

A friend has a 1973 type LT Camaro. The panel on the inside of the car between the back window & the package tray had to be replaced. He was unable to determine the color it was from the factory. The interior color was a saddle. Can somebody please tell me what color the piece is supposed to be that I mentioned. thank you, Joe

It should painted the interior color. It should match the top metal part of the dash. They were painted at the same time.

My brother's 73 RS LT Z28, which he has owned since 1989 has neutral Comfortweave interior, the dash is brown and the painted rear package tray trim was black textured , January built car.
The parts car we bought was a LT RS built in Feb and it had Neutral comfortweave with brown dash and brown package tray trim.
I too thought the area should be brown, however the original rear glass was in the car with the original damming strip, so we repainted it black textured.
