Default Brake Booster & Valve Restoration by Mike Gibbons

A couple of years ago I had the pleasure of dealing with Steve Gregori through his company (brakeboosters.com) who did some outstanding work on a booster and master cylinder for me. Enter 2020 where the company was sold to Mike Gibbons and his wife. I called Mike up a few months ago and ended up peppering him with questions related to brake systems and restoration services.

He was very patient, explanative, and quite thorough with his answers. He offered to restore all the valves in my brake system, pit polish, and replate my booster and master cylinder cover, and help me find any required parts including anything dated that I may need. I shipped off everything I had for parts including a badly plated J1703 cover for the master which he said he could likely replate, and that he did.

Long of the short...everything was done in the time frame promised and the parts arrived here earlier today. All workmanship is absolutely first class, the plating is simply superb and the colors are correct in every form. Even better yet, he packed it all up like a champion where it could have withstood any type of abuse in shipping. All in all, the True Class Act!

I am very impressed with your work Mike. BTW, your new website is looking great as well.

Cheers...Graeme

You're right on the money there Chick. Best practice methods and attention to detail are high up on his list. I am very impressed with the coloring of the valves as well.
