Default Thrush Silencer

I picked up this ONE Thrush Silencer - I "Collect" Old Thrush products & I have NEVER seen these OR AD's for them- Does any one Know when they were made& what its USED for?? Im thinking its a "Resonator" of some sort?? Im just looking for any INFO-- Or Ad's they were in..

Sure looks like one of the old 'Hush-Thrush' header mufflers we used to use..
What size are the in/outs?.

It is REALLY small -The main body is only 9 inches & it has a long "Tailpipe-ish" extension???I have Hush Trush mufflers& A lot of thrush AD's But I have never seen these ones I just got

4, where did you get that? I don't believe they were marketed in this country, which is probably why you have not come across any ads for them. I think they were made for the European small car crowd, but don't quote me on it.

I won it on ebay... I just dont know what its "USED" for?? Its 2 inches in & out & I never seen AD's about them

Somewhat similar to a resonator I once had.
It measured out @28"long and had 4-1/2" diameter.
The pipe itself had a 2-1/2" ID in the front,w/a 2" ID in the rear.

They were made in Ontario at the Rexdale plant, made to reduce noise on the street .
I save catalogs and assorted items from when my brother worked there. he still has T shirts packaged , belt buckles and I think hats. a special pair of straight thrush mufflers that are chrome plated .
I have been looking for a good pair of Thrush side kicks for my Buick.
