Default Anybody ever seen an 80's SS Monte without factory air?

I purchased an 86 that was sold new out of Jay's village Chevy in New York. It was ordered without air and had an L88, turbo 400, and Currie 9 inch installed immediately after purchase. I live below the nat line so I've never seen one of these cars without air.

A guy I know has an 85 SS that he ordered new without AC, and also immediately installed a 427 in it after purchase. It’s another NY car.

There was another one up here in CT that got a ZL1 crate motor in it when new - ended up in a couple magazines.

Actually AC was an option back then. I remember having at least 1 Monte SS with no AC and have seen a few others. There were quite a few Z28s back in that era with no AC .

I have one of them - just listed it in the For Sale section.
