Dang, gone at the days! I picked up my silver grill (used and had some missing chunks) but fixable for $75 at E-town swap meet.

when they are cracked - they end being worth substantially less......mint, orig painted body color ones, no cracks.....worth that all day long......add your hrs to fix a single crack correctly and the great deal turns quickly into $$.

Original silver grills were molded in a bone (off white) colored plastic.

I could never figure how come the people that reproduce these didn't do them in bone white. The grey reproduction grills have to be painted argent silver anyway,.The grey they use is a dove grey looking color.
