1965 L79 Corvette Coupe Survivor
This is an investment grade Corvette I have known since 1969 sold new at Sutliff Chevrolet in Harrisburg PA, it is 100% original paint, interior & born with drivetrain, I will send pics to interested buyers, this is the 2nd local Corvette Survivor that I have found & bought sold new at this dealer, the other one was the 1969 L89 Monaco Orange car w/6,138 org miles. A local farm boy (Glenn Brubaker) who lived 3 miles from me was a senior in high school & I was a junior, he bought this car from the original owner in 1969. The original owner has since passed away & put the majority of the miles on the car. In 1978, Glenn got the car inspected at Henry's Garage in East Waterford, PA showing 47,938 miles & shortly after, he parked the car & it never saw daylight again for 34 yrs until 2012 when he decided to sell it. In 1970, Glenn went to Register Chevrolet in Thompsontown, PA & bought the NOS side pipes for $300, the car originally came with the N11 off road exhaust, it is an AOS body. If someone wants to change it back, Glenn was smart enough to keep the original rocker moldings & all the brackets he cut off, along with the born with stainless tips, these will be included with the car along with the original window sticker. Glenn is now 71 yrs old, I will be 69 in Nov., he still resides in the same home in Honey Grove, PA. He sold it in Sept 2012 to another high school friend (Calvin Kerstetter) who lived on a farm next to Glenn. Long story short, Calvin suddenly passed away in March 2020, I was able to buy the car from his wife Debra who was in my graduation class. I have many stories to tell about this incredible car you will only get if you are an interested buyer & pick up the phone & call me. I recently had a local Corvette dealer (Dylan Stahl) come look at the car, attached is a photo of his description describing my car to another gentleman looking to buy a C2. I have to video's I can send if you send me your email. The last pic is showing Glenn's garage with no windows where it sat for 34 years not seeing any sunshine.
Price is $85k Firm Interested parties Call 717-348-2424 |

Here is what the car would have looked like right off the showroom floor with steel wheels with spinner hubcaps & white stripe tires, the original spare is still with the car. I do know where there is a set of original survivor wheels & tires. The original owner put Dayton wire wheels on it soon after he bought it. I recently sold the wire wheels I had listed on here.
