1969 1108367 starter motor restored camaro z/28 302 8l27

FOR SALE: A Camaro Z/28 starter (#1108367) dated 8L27 or November 27th, 1968. This unit has been sitting on a shelf and no longer needed by myself. It was completely rebuilt, restored and ready for installation. This is a GM restored starter, not a restamp. $195 + $30 shipping…QuickPay preferred. Thanx, Yenko.net

Actually didn't even pay attention to the 'MADE IN CANADA' stamping. I guess my question would be is this an appropriate, correct part for a Canadian Zed/28? Seems like a very early date for a service replacement part.

I think GM did this for the 69 model year because of some Labor Issues and also to keep up with the demand. Maybe at the Ontario Parts Plants right across the river from Detroit? I think McKinnon was GM Parts of Canada.
