seems like a good deal...a blue 4-speed car...I'd make it an RS though...whether it was or not....

...interesting how the cowl tag calls out the SS option (Z27)and the L78 option separate...I've never seeen that before. Is that common? I assume one could obtail the GM Canada docs. which would be really cool.

I think it's a cool car..wish it was mine.

I'm amazed how nice and crisp that trim tag looks after 40 years

The car may be 40 years old but the trim tag is not.
No 1970 SS cars had Z27 on trim tag. The correct tag would read L78 only.

There is a cool 1970 L78 clone in latest Hemmings muscle machines which races in the FAST program with an auto. Has there ever been a documented 70 L78 with a turbo 400 auto. If not how can car be considered clone original? Does FAST allow for other transmissions?

I was not insinuating the cowl tag is fake...as it looks very similar to the tag on the cars I own, My 70Z tags look much newer than 40 years old also...and I know mine are original.

As far as there never being Z27 on a cowl tag? I would never say never. If my memory is correct,I believe I have seen a 71 Camaro with the RS option designated on the tag..I believe Z22...??

Has anyone seen Z27 on a cowl tag before? There are a few 70 L78 owners here...or even a small block car?

The GM of Canada docs sure would help this car...if it is real??

I will come right out and say the tag on that car is not the tag that left the factory.

I have owned quite a few 1970 Camaros over the years and the SS cars I owned did not have Z27 on the tag. Plus the L78 cars I have looked only had L78 on the tag.
It's like a 1970 Z/28 with air-conditioning. Never say never, right?

This car was never sold in Canada so there would not be any "legit" documentation.

There is more to the story on this car but I would rather discuss it off line for those interested.
