I love drag racing but I'd put a car like that back to stock tubs.

Really like the period photos of these old drag cars.
Any progress or thoughts on the rear wheel houses ? Any pics to see what has been done ? If the floor, or frame rails, are butchered and needs replacement, it may be easier to finish a clean install of mini-tubs. If it is just the wheel house, that is a fairly easy replacement and can look quite original when done properly.

Except for the early big blocks. Same thing with the first few Z/28s in 67.
