Default 1969 Camaro Chevelle etc SURVIVOR smog setup.

This smog setup was removed from a 69 Z/28 Camaro and is truly in survivor condition.

Photos

Smog tubes and 992 check valves are in beautiful survivor condition and retain nearly all of their original plating. Smog hoses are the original ribbed style complete with original stampings. 120 9 S (May 1, 1969) dated pump spins freely is beautiful as well. Diverter valve is the correct 29295 piece and still retains its original "GF" decal. For some reason, the cover has lost all of its plating , however, the body and muffler show excellent color.

The only pieces missing from this setup are the original pulley and tower hose clamps.

$2500 or make an offer.
I may be willing to part this smog system.

For what it's worth I just purchased an orginal GM system for my 1970 Z28 with re pop check valves and smog tubes, completely restored and ready to bolt on for 800 bucks.....

$800 is pretty good price on the 1970 setup. However, I'm looking to match this one up with a survivor car instead of having it restored.

Should the one on the 70 have the ink stamp or the sticker?

I think it is a sticker in '70... black fan in '72 right?

Correct it's a sticker that say's GF for 70. It's very hard to find original unrestored items to go on low mile cars. Good luck with the sale.

Mark,

I'm positive you'll get a lot of differing opinions on this subject. While I couldn't say for sure, the pump in the setup is dated May 1 so it is very possible. It is also possible the diverter valve was replaced at some point early in the host car's life.
