Default 1969 ZL1 Block

I have a 3946052 aluminum bare block for sale. It is dated 8 8 69. The pad has Bryant Racing engraved on it and has some grind marks. This block is in excellent shape. The winters foundry mark is still in place. Nothing has ever been polished off. The external finish is like new. All of the sleeves have been replaced and it needs to be bored to size. I plan to list it for sale on ebay next week. If anyone is seriously interested email me at [email protected] and I will send photos.

Thanks,

Mike

Mike,
I noticed that you're located in California. This engine may be from Sonny Bryant. He's been in SoCal most of his life, growing up in Orange, Ca. He still has a shop there. He can be reached at
Sonny Bryant Racing....(714)535-2695.

He's now known for his crankshafts for both drag racing and NASCAR. In fact, this car uses his crankshafts...

which was taken from The Army Top Fuel Dragster website.

And here's a listing from a video that he's in from Draglist.com's drag racing videoswebsite.

1973 Springnationals: Don Prudhomme, Tom McEwen, Shirley Muldowney, Don Schumacher, Gapp & Roush, "newcomer" Bob Glidden, Sonny Bryant, Butch Leal, "Billy the Kid," Paul Blevins, and more.

And finally from The NHRA itself

A recap of a race [ QUOTE ]
One of the longest dry spells in Pro Stock history fell by the wayside today when Osborne beat his Mopar Parts teammate Darrell Alderman for the title. The last time a Hemi-powered machine collected a national event win in the class was 1979, when Randy Humphrey outran Sonny Bryant at the Mile-High Nationals in Denver.

Sonny Bryant is the original owner of my brothers Camaro.

Try giving him a call!

Hey M., why dont you drop a pic or 2 here in the listing for all to take a peak at; usually a 400 to 600 pixel works well...

The price is $15,000.00 or best offer. Since a price is required. I tried to download a photo but is was to large of a file. I will take another photo and try to load it again.
