Default 70 Torino Cobra

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...9-cobra-jet-6/

A friend of mine bought this car new. I have known him for better than 40 years and I know that when he sold the car, it was in excellent condition. Current owner also appears to have taken excellent care of the car in the 18 yrs he has owned it. Mileage is legit. Car has had some paint work done, possibly even a complete repaint, but I can't be certain about that. Current owner has definitely added the current tires & wheels and pretty sure he added the rear window louvers too, as I do not remember them. Anyone looking for a 70 Torino Cobra would be hard pressed to find a better one.

Default Torino...

I have always liked these unique models with big motors. The end was near for Detroit horsepower...this was one last gasp of the old days. This car with the optional gears must have been something on the street.

Very cool

In the dept of "One's that got away" I remember looking at a totally original 69 Torino Formal roof, completely stripped, except for a 428 CJ and 4 spd. Blvd beast for sure, would love to know happened to that one
