Exactly and if you watch the vid enough times from the stands, you can see the car come off the wall briefly when the wall straightened and he turned it back into it to control it. The back of the car is further from the wall than the front for a time, while he works to get it under control.

I could take one for the team here and drive the "other' car for you... wouldnt want you to have to race alone.

----OK, so now it's bumper cars. Need side nerf bars so drivers can bank off the walls. Good racing? Don't get me wrong, loved his move. Just wondering what's next?......Bill S

<<<< News from NASCAR >>>>
They are suspending Ross Chastain after the move at Martinsville. Ironically enough the suspension isn’t for the move itself. It’s for an unapproved seat modification. Media reached out to Trackhouse Racing for a comment which they gladly gave. “We had to modify Chastain’s seat before the martinsville race. It was the only safe way we could fit his enormous balls comfortably in the cockpit” NASCAR then retracted the suspension.

Cory LeJoy ran the same thing on the GM sim yesterday and ran the EXACT lap time.He said he would bet his house that Ross had been running it on the sim many times and just save it for the right track and the right time to pull it out of his back pocket. Most drivers have said they DONT have the balls to try it them selves.Tom

I don't care how much the fans might love it, I'll bet the farm NASCAR outlaws it before the race this coming weekend. I watched the race live on TV and I agree it was an incredibly ballsy move that worked perfectly for him...all the planets were in perfect alignment for that to work out the way it did.
