1967-1969 Camaro/Firebird Original GM Decklids/Trunk Lids
I have been digging into my storage and came across these 2 original 67-69 Camaro/Firebird decklids. I remember a few guys looking for them recently so I thought I'd make them available.
Decklid #1: This is the blue decklid in the pictures. This came off of a 1969 Firebird 400 4 speed convertible that someone parted out! It looks solid overall with pitting and a few pinholes on the inside back edge. There are also some small bubbles on the outer back edge as shown. $125 plus shipping. Decklid #2: This decklid came off of a 1969 Camaro that was wrecked in the front in the 1980s. It has one dark green repaint over the original Frost Green paint. There are some bubbles on the driver's back corner as shown and some scratched areas as shown. This is the later decklid with the tabs on the lower edge. $250 plus shipping. Thanks, Jason |

This may help some too. Late 1969 production (March on) is when the Pontiac (God rest it's soul)Trans-Am was introduced. That new lid had new extra holes for that unique spoiler.

OK, so it looks like both of those have those holes. So the green one is mid 69 and the blue one is late 69?
Thanks, Jason |

Do the stampings indicate a date?

The tabs mentioned under the lip of the deck lid were present on early deck lids and were absent by March '69 or so. The bumps that were under the tabs remained through March '69 and after March '69 the lip was smooth, no tabs or bumps. It makes it difficult to find a correct decklid for a March built Yenko for example!
