Default Morehouse LS6 Chevelle

Talking with a coworker and he shared these photos of his LS6 Chevelle he purchased new and raced at Oswego and Byron dragways. Informed me he sold it with about 2500 miles. Other pictures show the car after restoration and new owners, do not know who owns the car now.

That was always one of my favorite colors on a 70 Chevelle... but with white stripes!

------It surfaces again!!! I was so surprized when I noticed that Terbeek (or someone he is tied up with) owned it as of Russo/Steele time last Jan. Dont know if it sold down there or not. Yup,,,I was the second owner. You couldnt find a better guy than Rick Morehouse. We talked at a Mecum auction recently and he hasnt changed a bit. Just another one of the great Chicago area guys that I consider a friend. The car,,,What can I say??? It looks better than when I had it and certainly better than when I sold it,,, wrecked!!!!!! Fortunatly, owners after me were kind to it and it has led a pampered life since. Those are some great pics that I have never seen before. Please remember me to Rick when you see him next........Bill S

------Car came with Generals, by the way. Two were on the front and the spare was in the trunk. Even back in 1979/80 I couldnt find any more to put the car totally back to original.

Sam has it partially restored & advertised in this Months Hemmings for 138K.Appraised at 180K.
Those first two pics were taken by Steve Arp.
I have alot of vintage pictures of this car, including a video I shot in 1998 when it came back here.Old photographs too showing the damage that was done in the accident after Bill S. sold it.I was just recently able to obtain all the receipts and work orders showing the damage and parts that were ordered & replaced by the dealership employee who bought it after Classic Motors sold it.
He worked for Bill Jacobs Chevrolet back then, and still lives here.
