Default Pics of my 10 10 Z/28

Given the prices of some of the 69 Z/28's lately, I decided to up the coverage. Tami at MK said that wasn't a problem, but underwriting wanted some contemporaneous photos.

So, got it out yesterday. First order of business was the photos. Then a trip to the local airport to fill it up with 100LL. Every time I drive it I can't believe how much fun it is. I still have the original 302 with manifolds, smog, etc. But the current engine (LT-1 spec, still standard bore) just runs like stink through the old S&S headers (out of business now.... but a true tuned header). 4.10 screw and M20 is a GREAT combo for a small block. Still breaks the tires loose in all four gears, even with traction bars and 255s on the rear.

If you ever get a chance to put 100LL in an old muscle car, you won't believe how much it wakes it up.

Thought I would share the pics. Yes, the passenger side floor mat is dirty. Sue me.

Awesome car Lynn and the way it's setup you can drive it like you stole it!! Enjoy....

Tami at M&K our insurance sponsor is amazing to deal with and always beats the competition prices.

I have had the car since 1976. My brother bought it in 75. He was just 15 and in way over his head. I traded him for my 70 Opel Kadette Rallye.

Some pics of the resto here: https://www.yenko.net/forum/showthre...d+pics+project
