I alwasy liked these cars. But then, I have a thing for black cars.

I am certain you will get huge differences of opinion. Don't know if it is a true survivor, restored, or to what level.

But for me, I would put a 10k to 20k premium over and above a comparable SS 350. Lots of reasons why, but I would just bore everyone who reads the thread.

When I say comparable, I mean about the same condition. If this car is a restored #2, then find a restored #2 SS350 car, and add the premium.

You get the idea.

No doubt there are others who wouldn't pay that much premium, and some who would pay more.

What makes this car special and as you mentioned no performance mods, so just appearance package? Maybe someone from the area would pay a bit more, but seems it was a lesser known performance dealership than say Nickey, Dana, Yenko, Baldwin, or even Berger, so my opinion is there would be pretty limited appeal for the most part without any mods or a racing history. It's a sharp car with the black exterior and gold stripe. But substantial extra value for Gorries connection, I just don't see it. If it was one of the Black Panther Z-28's, a big block, or 427 dealer transplant than a whole new level of value and would have substantial appeal to most collectors.

I realize it is not an SS. I was just using that for the comparison. I know the performance models are the more desirable, but for me, I never considerd an SS350 a performance model. Apologies to any owners who do. Just picking a spot in the pecking order.

Pricing it $10k to $20k over a comparable SS350 might mean they sit on it for a while. Pretty limited market, but still a novelty car, and special in its own right. Kind of like the "mod" vinyl top cars, but a bit more desirable to me.

Zedder, sorry I don't see it as appealing as these guys do, SORRY not putting it/you down, just trying to be honest. Rare doesn't always mean worth more.

Problem is, it's a CANADIAN dealer car. Look at the Beaumont/Acadian cars. They are worth less than the comparable Chevelle/Nova's even though there are far less = rarer. I was into the Canadian car scene for about 7/8 yrs and this is what I found when I went looking for the CND cars.

But with that being said. IF you think that the car compares well to the SS350 car, I WOULD add 6-10K to that value and price the car there. Just like real estate, you price it to high, it sits and usually goes for less then it should have once it's past the "hot button" time.

Sorry not trying to be a d!ck or anything. Just my honest opinion. Looks like a nice clean driver. No hood scoops, mild 327 without any performance upgrades could limit the market. IDK maybe look at a #2 Camaro NOT an SS350 and add to that. As noted, these were mostly "appearance" packages, but for the 427's car that NONE are known to exist. Other dealer car, Dana, Yenko, BM and even Conroys all had performance behind them to garner a bigger $$$. YES it from a performance dealer, but also look at it like this, what would a base '67 327 Camaro be some strips from say Bill Thomas, Scuncio or Jack Douglas. I think that would be a better representation of value myself.

Looking at the pictures online, I would say $50,000 CND or around that. I personally just don't see it being much more than that, if any.
