Sounds like they didn't sell it.

#213 This LeMans Blue 69 Yenko Nova is W394259 and is on the 69 Nova Yenko VIN list. The body number is WRN254955 which puts it one body number after the ex Keith Hutson Rallye Green Nova and one body number before the ex Tom Clary LeMans Blue Nova. According to the other thread on this site this car was sold new through Dale Chevrolet in Waukesha WI. This car currently has a NOM 396 and a BV1218G1 rearend. It was posted that documentation was found that this car was a 427 transplant car. I don't know who currently owns this car. It was apparently just purchased from the guy who posted pictures of it on FB. It's a great find and hopefully more information will come out on it.

Does anyone know if anyone of the 427 Yenko Nova's was Glacier Blue in color?

#214 This 69 COPO Camaro is N619394 and according to its NCRS paperwork it was shipped new to Mac's Chev. Olds in Crete NE. As far as I know it is the only known COPO that is Garnet Red with a white vinyl top and red deluxe interior. This is also an original drivetrain car with 29K miles. According to the original owner he purchased the car in Lincoln NE. Crete is only 20 miles or so from Lincoln so it may have been dealer transferred. The car spent its early years in CO and was wrecked and put into storage in '77. It went to KS in '83 and remained in storage until a couple of years ago when the restoration began. From looking at some of the pre restoration photos the car was fairly complete but needed the passenger side sheet metal replaced. This car was restored by Big Creek Restoration in Ellis KS. This car was judged in the Milestone program and scored 4,935 out of 5,000 points for 98.7%. J. Fairleigh had this car at the show. This was one of my favorite cars at MCACN this year.

hopefully, J. Fairleigh will contact me so that we can get the necessary docs to add this car to the registry. We spoke at MCACN.

#215 This well-known 69 Yenko Camaro is N578812 and was sold new at Gates Chevrolet in Mishawaka IN to Bill Hunter. I believe everyone knows the story of how Bill purchased a Hugger Orange Yenko Camaro from Gates and proceeded to blow the engine the first night he owned it. The next day he went back to the dealership and replaced that car with this one. It is an unrestored car with 65K miles and still has its original engine. It still has its original window sticker and POP as well. It was raced with a number of other engines in it over the years. D. Beem purchased the car from Bill a number of years ago. Unfortunately, Bill died not long ago. I was trying to take some pictures of Dave's three Yenkos at the show, but whenever I walked past there was always a crowd around them. Dave was nice enough to take some time Saturday night to let me take some good pictures of them.

#216 This Fathom Green 69 Yenko Camaro is N614648 and was sold new at Hult Chevrolet in Madison WI. This car was owned by Mike Beggin for a number of years before Dave Beem purchased it. Dave did a complete restoration on it and just finished it up earlier this year. I believe he said this was a Gold Concours winner at the show.

I remember seeing a Fathom Green Yenko Camaro with the black Yenko stripes that was really ragged out in Pittsburgh around 1984-ish. Looked like a daily driver and had an SCCA sticker on the rear bumper. Always wondered what happened to it.
