Default L78/LS6 Intake compatability

I am looking for an intake for an L72/L78 build to go in a 1966 Chevelle. I am now wondering if the 1969/1970 intakes are compatible with the left side alternator mounting and short water pump ?

Also, it seems the 3885069 changed design during it's production from 1966 to 1968. Is there any drawback to the 3 hole design over the 2 hole with plenum divider ? Is the open plenum as good for the street as the divided plenum ?
Thanks guys..

----I can give you a NO on performance on the street without the plenum divider. Simplisticly, dividerless intakes are for higher RPMs and work better with big cams etc.....Bill S

Thanks, that was my thought too, Bill, but it always helps to get better opinions...

So I want to avoid the 069 open plenum intake, which some of what I read was more of a Corvette intake. It, also, seems to be the one the repro's copied.
