I agree. I figure I will make a lap around our neighborhood once a month or so.

Get it out on the road for 30 miles and get all the accumulated condensation dissipated out of the drive line and exhaust. A short trip without full warm up only makes that worse.

Thanks for that info. I didn’t know that and appreciate the heads up. So much cash I guess I feel a little worried of hurting a motor but what you mentioned makes a lot of sense. Thanks

I have never hurt a motor in 40 years of WOT gear changes. Broke a few transmissions though.

Congrats! That is some score for sure.
I can't agree enough with Mitch. They like to be driven some. Make sure you get all the fluids up to temp and work the brakes well, emergency brakes, heater, fan, etc. Will save you a lot of headaches in the future.

Could maybe run 'em down to the end of the driveway in the morning ...?

You don't have to drive 'em like you stole 'em, but as Mitch says, at least a few times a year you want to get them out and run them at highway speed (or slightly above ) for a while. Should be able to find some nice open roads there in Iowa! Pretty soon, you won't need much of an excuse to do that.

Wow, congrats! Any info on how the previous owner acquired 2 almost identical and rare cars?

Default Hemi's arrived home today

I got the 2 Hemi's home today and man the sun made them pop. I questioned myself the last few days until they rolled off the trailer. I knew I did the right thing after parking them ... Feeling blessed for sure...
