These are recent photos (March 2022) taken of the wreck of Shackleton's Endurance which sank in the Weddell Sea on 21 November 1915. What's astonishing is this is a wooden boat. It lies in 10,000 feet where the water temp is very cold which preserved the ship

The lack of decay is astonishing. And yet, there is marine life living in that temperature and depth of water too.
