How ironic we just ordered a new Cobalt CS23. Our neighbors now more than ever think we are rich. Little do they know its about the cheapest Cobalt you can buy. Its even cheaper than one engine of the above boats.

Definitely top of the food chain in offshore powerboats

Hop on YouTube and search Apache Powerboats. You will be entertained for hours on how these boats eat up waves.

----I also call the owner of Kemosabe a good friend. I believe the current three engines are around 1050 apiece! Good for around 120mph and can run in big water at insane speeds.
----As some may have guessed, Short Circuit is my 27 Magnum. Two detuned to around 475hp 383 strokers under the hatch, and will run around 80. They were only detuned about 25-30hp during the last build as the boat is now retired living the easy life. It did it's job with the former owners and deserves the rest. Still a barrel of fun!
----The Fino is a twin to mine, color and all. Not tremendously fast as it was and is more of a pleasure boat. Has a generator and full AC. Only 30 ever built back in the early 70s so they are extremely rare. We figure about 18 still exist. Powered by two 390hp 454s it's good for around 50 to 55, but I rarely run it at that speed. Google "Fino 30 Marine" if interested.
----Hope I haven't bored you guys. It's good to have two passions, right?.....Bill S
