Now that I have the 67, I'll get a thread going on that. Perhaps I have confused a few of you as many think I have a Goodwood Green 67 coupe already.

I did, kind of..........

That was the car the my Dad bought in 1974. After years of persistence, he finally sold it to me when I turned 50. Then shortly thereafter, Tracey and I moved to our home in Northern Wisconsin. My Dad had me looking for a specific car he had in mind and the search was not turning up very much. He continued to broaden what he would take. Then one afternoon when we were knocking out a case of beer, I told him he was basically describing his green 67. So I asked......."you want it back?" He jumped at the opportunity.

Selling the car provided a void for me as well. Growing up, that car was solely responsible for my passion for cars. I've had a few others since then, but it was not the same.

So. fast forward to the last month. I found the pictured 67 in Colorado. I purchased the car from the 2nd owner (who had it since 1982). The car finally got delivered this past week. My first order of business was to look for a tank sticker (I was told it was there). Frankly, I have not been this giddy about a car in a loooong time. It just feels right. Here is the sticker.......

So now back to the 62. I am in the process of finishing that up. The tach needed to be repaired, and recently I got the dash pulled to take care of that. The car runs and drives PHENOMINAL! Might be the best straight axle I've driven to date. But, I cannot keep them all. After getting the HM Camaro back (thank you again Paul), I can only have a few personal cars.

Today it's raining pitchforks and hammer handles, so no decent pics today. I'll get them posted up here in the next week as I get the car ready to market.

Here is a couple of quick pics as it sits in the shop this morning......

Fantastic, Tim! Man I wish we lived closer. I could have used your help on that 62 I was working on. Happy to report she’s enjoying it now.

Cheers
Dave

I think I saw this car for sale in last months Hemming's Motor News? Very nice 1967 Corvette with great provable options. Congratulations.
