This exciting 1986 Manco Mini-Kar Valvoline Indy Car Replica Go-Kart is powered by a new Predator 212cc gasoline engine rated with 6.5hp. This go-kart was produced by Manco products of Fort Wayne, Indiana to resemble the Team Valvoline #6 car driven by Pancho Carter at the Indianapolis 500 in 1985. That car was powered by a “stock block” Buick V6 and the car ran the fastest qualifying lap time at 212.583 mph. The factory original fiberglass body on this go-kart has a front and rear wing. It retains the factory original Royal Blue paint which was recently detailed to a glossy finish by the team at MS CLASSIC CARS. The factory decorated the front with a white, blue and red decal. The factory also decorated it with Valvoline, Coors Light, Galles Racing, Buick, Goodyear and number six decals. The previous owner added B&B Racing decals were is easily removable. The body and wings do have some minor imperfections from usage over the last 38 years. The staggered-diameter wheels were mounted with Kenda 4.10/3.50-4 front and Cheng Shin 12x6.00-6 rear tires. The surprisingly spacious cabin retains the factory original Manco 3-spoke steering wheel and black upholstered seat. The factory original black tubular steel frame is in excellent condition. This go-kart is powered by a new Predator 212cc gasoline engine that was installed by MS CLASSIC CARS in July of 2024. This engine has gas saving overhead valves for cooler, cleaner performance and longer life. The horizontal shaft is ball-bearing mounted making it an ideal replacement. The powerful gas engine features a durable cast iron cylinder and is rated with 6.5hp. This engine has user-friendly controls for easy starting and operation. The power is sent to the rear axle with a centrifugal clutch and chain drive. It's equipped with a single drum brake on the rear axle. This go-kart was recently serviced and is completely operational.
