Need to know on the 67 442 factory hurst shifters if the handle is different for a bench seat or bucket seat car? Also who is big on used original Olds parts? Thx Tom

shifters are same, what do you need, i have a friend who has a lot of 442 parts, nos used etc

It may be a case of which gear the shifter is in. It doesn't look like they are both in the same gear. Reverse is all the way forward while 2nd or 4th are closer to the seats and neutral in the middle
|

Still trying to make a deal on the car. Wont know what parts i need yet.

I think the car having a console, or not having a console would’ve determined what shifter was installed; not the bench versus buckets. Also, (if my memory isn’t playing tricks on me) the Cutlass handle only had an “H” engraved in the stick and not “442”, but was shaped the same.
