Yep , I have seen them for Firebirds so I am sure they were available for Camaros. Sure makes the leg room for the back seat even tighter but it will keep your head from rubbing the headliner.

Oh boy........do I have a question!!!!!!

I owned a 70 Nova SS back in the early 70s, and the seat fit just fine with plenty of room to spare. I'm about 5 ft and 9" tall... Ok, so now I own a 70 Nova SS and the seat is all wrong, no room, head hits headliner....etc.

So what changed??? I know some people overstuff the seats when they are recovered......but is there something else wrong? I never needed seat extenders 30 years ago!!! Yes, I have gained weight, but that's not it.

Are we talking about a bucket seat car? There are some bumpers betewwen the bottom and the back of the bucket seat that can be cut or removed to adjust the seat rake. I have my bumpers removed completely, which makes the seats lean back to a nice comfortable angle. It makes it so that I can set the seat position forward to reach the pedals easily without putting the steering wheel right in my chest. I am 5'8".

Yes sir---
It's a bucket seat car. I tried the same thing you did, and it worked well, but the plastic sides on the seat back looked a little off.......didn't line up because the seat leaned too far back. However, I think you have the best solution. Why do we have to do this now.......I didn't have to do it back in the 70s??? Not really sure what has changed.

Thank you kindly-
