Here are my pictures from the 2016 MCACN show. I took pictures of over 100 cars so I'll post them as I have time. This was an great show once again and I can't wait until next year. I apologize that some of the pictures aren't the greatest, but I didn't want to spend 2 days walking around with a tri pod. I hope you guys enjoy them!

Myron

Since this is the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals I'll start with the Corvettes.

This is G. Castrovillo's Gypsy Red 54 Corvette.

This is B. Wilcox's Charcoal 58 Corvette with fuel injection.

This is T. DeBold's Roman Red 60 Corvette with fuel injection.

This is G. Pockrus' 63 Z06 Corvette which is 1 of 199 built.

This is F. Pelly's 65 Corvette that according to his sign board is the only Tuxedo Black with silver interior 65 Corvette built.

This is R. O'Neill's 65 Corvette that was sold new at Gene Maxton Chevrolet in Angola IN.

This is W. Kane's 66 Corvette that was sold new at Carroll Chevrolet in Crown Point IN.

This is D. Presty's 66 Corvette which is an early car that carries the 450 horse rating.

This is S. Bramati's 67 Corvette which was sold new at Perry Chevrolet in Towanda PA.

This is L. Sachs' 67 Corvette which was sold new at University Chevrolet in Bronx NY.

This is L. Sachs's Marina Blue 435 horse 67 Corvette.

This is F. Tetro's 67 Corvette.

This is L. Sach's Tuxedo Black 435 horse 67 Corvette.

This is D. Ghareb's 400 horse 67 Corvette with a 4 speed and air.

This is G. Dickens' 68 L88 Corvette that was sold new at Jack Douglass Chevrolet in Hinsdale IL and is 1 of 80 built.

This is J. Stranak's 69 L89 Corvette that is 1 of 390 built.

This is J. Anderson's 69 Corvette. I never saw the hood open, but it's either a 390 or 400 horse car due to having a 5.5K redline tach.

This is J. Anderson's 71 LT-1 Corvette.

Now for some full size Chevrolet's.

This is K. Nagel's 59 Impala convertible with a 290 horse fuel injected engine backed by a T-10 and 3.55 gears that was sold new in Northern CA. This is only the second factory fuel injected 59 Impala convertible I have seen. I don't know how many were made.

This is C. Golz's 67 Impala SS 427 that was equipped with a TH400 and air.

This is B. Everly's 67 SS 427 that was equipped with a 4 speed. This car was featured in the latest issue of Hemmings Muscle Machines. Notice the difference between this car and the Impala SS above. The SS 427 was a separate model and lacked any Impala emblems. It also had the chrome louvers on the center of the hood that the Impala SS 427's lacked.

This 68 SS 427 was a Pilot Car with VIN 100003 and is equipped with a 385 horse 427 backed by a TH400 and 3.08 gears.

Here are some Chevelles.

This is R. Stolarick's 66 Chevelle SS.

This is F. Chicherchia's 69 Yenko Chevelle that was sold new out of Yenko Chevrolet. This is a 19K mile car with it's original drivetrain.

This is B. Arenson's 69 L78 Chevelle SS.

This is J. Schmeisser's 69 L78 Chevelle SS that was sold new at Placke Chevrolet in St. Louis MO. This cars original engine is backed by an M21 with a 4.10 rearend. It was restored by Dan Vasic.

This is O. Pask's Autumn Gold 70 LS6 Chevelle SS with a TH400 and 3.31 rearend that was sold new at Haney Garage in Haney British Columbia. This was the Kansas City pilot car and has an 11C build date. It is in the LS6 Registry.

This is J. Hill's Cranberry Red 70 LS6 Chevelle SS convertible with an M22 and 3.31 rearend that was sold new at BA Chevy Olds in Toronto Ontario. It has GM of Canada documentation and there were photographs showing the stamps on the engine and transmission matching the hidden VIN's on the firewall. I don't see this car in the LS6 Registry so I'm guessing it's a newly discovered car.

This is W. Gappa's Fathom Blue 70 LS6 Chevelle SS with an M22 and 3.31 rearend that was sold new at Ed Black's Chevrolet in Albuquerque NM. It is an original drivetrain car that is in the LS6 Registry and was recently featured in Hemmings Muscle Machines.

This is D. Bishop's 70 LS6 Chevelle SS with an M22 and 3.31 rearend that was sold new at Central Chevrolet in Atlanta GA. This is an Atlanta built car that is also in the LS6 Registry.

This is R. Katiga's 73 Baldwin Motion Phase III Chevelle with a 427 backed by an M22 and a 4.88 rearend. This car was featured in Super Chevy and other magazines years ago. I believe it was the last Baldwin Motion car build. The cars after it were just Motion built cars from other dealerships.

This is T. Pestinger's 70 Monte Carlo SS. It was purchased new at Don Hatten Chevrolet in Wichita KS and was modified by Dick Harrell. It had an LS6 and 4.10 gears installed there among other things. It was featured in Super Chevy years ago.

This is T. Schell's 69 ZL1 Camaro that was sold new at Colonial Chevrolet in Norfolk VA. It is ZL1 #62 and is the only Garnet Red one with a red interior. It is also 1 of 11 with an M22.

This is P. Mitchell's 69 COPO RS Camaro that was sold new at Chas Carter Chevrolet in Bonhan TX. This is a 4 speed car that Charlie found in a field several years ago. It was recently restored by Level One in CO.

This is G. Birch's 69 COPO Camaro that was sold new at Williams Chevrolet in Lebanon PA. It has an L88 in it now, but does have it's original TH400 and a BE rearend.

Mike,

I've been taking pictures of cars for over 20 years so they didn't always look like this. I'm currently using a Nikon Coolpix P600. I have the Image Quality set at Normal and the Image Size at 16m. For shooting indoors I have the Exposure Compensation set at +.7 and the flash set at Slow sync. I also have the image stabilization on to reduce the effects of camera shake since I'm not using a tripod. The only problem is any movement in the background looks blurry due to the slow shutter speed. I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures. I'll post more when I have some time.

Myron
