Default Super Rare 1962 Mercury S55 4 speed

I am posting this for a friend so that I can give this community the first shot at buying this rare car. I realized that vintage full size Mercurys have a limited following, but I just drove the car 30 miles from home to Hershey - it runs/drives great.

Particulars:
It's a California car - original paint (obviously) and no rust repair ever. Floors and body are very nice. Trunk floor has a couple of pin holes, but easily repairable. It has complete original drive train including 3-2 bbl 406/405 engine that has been rebuilt (engine compartment fluffed while engine was out). One of 85 built, and one of two known to exist. 62,296 miles (believed to be original).

Asking $34,950 at Hershey in the car corral this week. Nothing in it for me. If it was a Chevy - it would be in my garage!
