Default Survivor 29k 1969 Scrambler Rambler

A buddy of mine just picked up this one owner 29k Scrambler out of Oklahoma yesterday. He's not a member of the site but he does go to MCACN so I'm already trying to talk him into bringing it next year for Vintage Certification. They're still out there...

Love these Rambler Scramblers, light, fast and put many street perf cars in there place. 390 cube engines were fast and i do believe you could order the cross ram dual carb intake on these machines?

An interesting fact:

Quote:
No SC/Rambler came from the factory with a tinted windshield, but AMC did replace non-tinted windshields with tinted windshields under warranty.

Correct.

You could also order an Edelbrock R4-B Intake and Holley 950-cfm Three-Barrel Carburetor from the Group 19 Performance Parts Catalog that would be installed by the selling dealer.

Those setups are amazing. I bet Three Barrel carb is a very rare find.

In the 80s I had a friend who had one of these. We spent many nights buzzing the blvd in it. Not many could touch it. Sadly it was stolen. Not much left when he got it back...Joe

Yes these Scramblers dusted many Big Block Perf Cars on the street. Light and a strong 390 engine got it done.
