Default Orange Yenko Camaro Katy, TX

I was driving home with the family coming from the water park. As we drove past the Mesquite Grill in our neighborhood here in Katy (abt 20 mi west of Houston) I spotted a orange 69 Yenko camaro with a black soft top and orange interior.

I was really surprised to see a Yenko 2 min from my house! Looked real deal but I can't be positive.

Is this a known car on here??

Does soft top mean convertible?

Isn't there a member here who was building very nice clones in that area?

It also has an Endura bumper.

I really wish I had stopped in to chat with the owner or in the least taken a picture. If I see it again I will get some details. It is the kind of a place that people frequent often.

Yes, Rick Baucom who lived in the Katy area was building ZL1 clones a few years back and a lot of them were HO. I don't remember his sYc ID but I haven't seen him post here in quite a while.

Mystery solved!!

Saw the car in the same spot sgain! This time I took some pics and spoke w the owner. Really nice guy called Gary.

It is indeed a tribute car.... But wow is she nice!!! There was a Ferrari 599 belonging to a friend of his parked near the Camaro. Gary asks... What did u think of the Ferrari out there? I reply 'there was a Ferrari? Nope, didn't even see it....'

How do I post pics from my iPad ??? Can I email someone to put them??
