1969 chevelle 4 door floor pans ?
Gentlemen are the floor pans the same for 69 Chevelle 2 door to 4 door? I've got an opportunity to buy a rust free 69 Chevelle 4 door for the floors and trunk pan but not sure if their the same as my 2 door. Thanks

I've never compared measurements, but the 4 door, wagon, and elky had a 4 inch longer wheelbase so it's most likely going to affect the seat humps.

They are the same, it will work to take pans from a 4 door car and put them in a 2 door car. Per Jerry Beasley.

Again, if I'm certain without a doubt, I'll say so, but I'm not. Look up AMD's floorpans and they are listed for 2dr and conv., no mention of 4dr or elky.

Need Jeff Helms to help out on this one.
I’ll take Jerry’s 50 plus years of experience and multi time National ISCA champion. All with 67 or 69 Chevelles.

Okay, I assumed the conversation understood that first gen chevelles have ALL the same wheelbase, second gen. extended it 4 inches for the elky and more doors.

69 is two years too "new" for my knowledge base! So I don't know if the interior floor pan is the same on a 69 2 door and 4 door or not.
But I would assume it cannot be the same, since (as noted above) a 4 door is longer between the wheels than a 2 door is. The front fenders are the same, so the extra length is not between the front wheels and the firewall, so it has to be in the passenger cabin, somewhere. I checked my parts books and apparently they did not sell an interior floor pan as a service replacement part. So no help there. However, the inner rockers were sold as service parts, and the 68-69 2-door and 4-door inner rockers have different part numbers. So I don't see how the floor pan could possibly be the same. But I'm just guessing! The trunk pan, on the other hand, is listed in the parts books as being one part number for all 68-69 Chevelles except wagons and elCamino's. So that should be usable. Good luck!

----I also don't have real help, but maybe the 4 inch's is added between the rear seat bottom and the rise behind it? I don't seem to remember any difference in leg room between the 69 Chevelle wagon I had and the 69 SS's I've had.....Bill S
