Love it! Engine looks great. Now all you need is a straight axle and lose the front bumper.

Actually going for this look or stance. But having these velocity stacks coming out of hood.

I like the Watson late-50s street cruiser idea. Much more fun and more driveable.

I am jealous. Keep the pics coming. I had a 57 210 two door, tropical turquoise with white top in High School. Keep thinking I am going to find a deal on another tri five, but they are getting hard to find (not the cars, the good deals).

Well the deals are still out there. I saved this one from the crusher. A local used car dealer took it in for a down payment. He just gave the guy junk value for it. I doubled his price I gave a 1000 dollars for it. I figured I could sell the fenders and doors off it for that. So basically I got a really good deal. I had no keys so I couldn't get into the trunk. We all know tri fives have issues in that area. Once I got the trunk open it was full of parts and the trunk floor is in real good condition. The main down fault I found with the car is it was an old drag car so the lift off hood ended where? On the roof. It looks like someone danced a jig over it. But they make a roof skin now so that really wasn't an issue. It will need a one piece floor most likely outer rockers. The frame looks solid. Its going to be a driver. Flat color but have everything fixed and straightened and painted. It will be a frame off but just to remove all cancer.

Not bad for a 60 year old door. Driver side door and fenders just as nice.

I've been picking away at the 55 slowly. I have most of the panels blasted and in epoxy and high build primer. I may get the body off the frame this weekend.

I had a holiday joke with my wife. We used to do the elf on the shelf with the kids for Christmas. Well I had a 55 chevy on a wall this Christmas...LOL

I LOVE me some 55 Chevys. When I was just a young lad I went to my fathers house for the weekend and noticed his 66 big block biscayne was gone so I go inside and first thing I did was to ask my father where's the Chevy he replies back " I traded it off the new car will be here in the morning. ( wouldn't tell me what type of car) Keep in mind the 66 biscayne was all original and mint and a original big block 4 speed car so I could hardly sleep that night thinking about the new car. As morning approached I was wide eyed on a cold rainy morning waiting on this new car well it showed up alright on 3 different trailers a basket case 55 2 door 150. I was devastated he traded that beautiful biscayne for this pile of junk. Spent the whole summer every weekend helping him build that car in the driveway ( no garage) to a primered driver and Iv been hooked ever since. The first time out we were cruising down the road and the hood was just set on with no hinges and latched in the front the wind lifted it off and threw it down in front of the car and we ran it over. Memories the all Mighty 55 is my next car whether I need another one or not.
