I noticed that the trans has a drain plug. I thought drain plugs were added in 1970 on the Muncie transmissions. Or this a M22 thing only??

Pretty certain, in '70 they all got drain plugs. Before that M-22 only.

Very cool Paul... it appears to have been built just a couple of days before mine. I would bet on Wednesday, February 26. Before lunchtime.

Appropriately so! After looking Doug's car over, my 68 should be turned into beer cans

As that car was being driven in from the delivery area, there was a crowd of people following it into the Vintage area and once it was parked, I couldn't see the car for the next hour, as it was absolutely hidden from view by bodies. One of the judges said it was "The Belle of the Ball" and it attracted crowds of people all day. It truly is amazing the condition it was maintained in and so clean underneath.
Congratulations to Doug for his new treasure.
