Default Found 1968 Chevelle / El Camino AM radio

I have no explanation for this. My brothers and I were going through my Mom's attic yesterday. Still coughing from all the dust, but that's another story.

Opened up one of the boxes, and three is a 60's AM Delco radio. I assumed it was the radio out of my first Z/28. After I sold that car to my brother, he put an aftermarket stereo in it, and because he was still living with Mom and Dad, it makes sense that the old radio was stored there.

But, upon running the numbers (7303131) turns out it is for a 68 Chevelle or El Camino. Odd, because NONE of the four of us ever owned one, until I bought my 68 El Camino a few years ago. My car did not have a radio in it when I bought it, so I bought an AM FM aftermarket from Tony.

If anyone here is restoring a high end 68 that you know came with an AM radio, contact me. I haven't tested it, but I can if someone here is interested. Will price accordingly after testing.
