Sam, not only is the car just drop dead gorgeous, and I am wondering if anyone else has noticed this...
I must comment that the photos that you take are really, really done well. The pics of your Bee had that same fine quality. You have a very good eye for photography. Can I request some of those shots full size for my desktop?

Re: Sam Griffith's 1969 L78 Chevelle...WOW!
Wayne has been the icing on the cake in owning this Chevelle. What a spirited, passionate fellow he is. He made the "research" experience a complete pleasure. I feel fortunate to be included on his joke/political commentary email distribution list. Wayne is a patriot and just plain good American. He remembers the details of his days with his trusty L78 with vivid detail and just loves to recount his street and race track encounters. His SS was last registered for the road in VA in 1977 with just under 32,000 miles.
Thanks for all the kind comments. I feel fortunate to have this beast in my garage. Darren - thank you. I am a student of the Xplantdad School of Photography (Phoenix Campus). My photo shoot was in a Pecan Grove near my home and I used an SLR with real live film, but had it developed to digital CD images. I found the colors to be much richer. You can down load hi res shots from my webshots links (I hope they work). Once you are viewing a picture, just click on "full size" and down load this. If this does not work just p.m. me and I'll forward bigguns' to you. Thanks to the folks who provided the good comments on the art-of-an-interview thread a couple months ago. This really helped.

Re: Sam Griffith's 1969 L78 Chevelle...WOW!
Sam, thanks again for providing us with another one of your fine automobiles for our viewing pleasure. I am truly honored to know Sam...and I hope that every one on this board has a chance to meet up with him some day...he's that cool of a person!
Sam is a great photographer all on his own. It's cool for me to be out here in AZ because I get to see all of his cars up close and personal. He also is a great "tag team" member for the head light shots, too! Thanks again Sam! Oh, BTW...Your links work...I tested them before I posted this feature...But, I dont think that people can download the photos from webshots anymore...unless the have the webshots viewer...it runs in a flash enviornment now.
