I would not have known this could be ordered in a 3 speed. Very interesting. A bench seat stick is underated. I have had one and loved it.

More on the 3-Spd. stick MK1V cars, there's an original L78 3-Spd. Stick '69 Chevelle up here in Canada..
Some here know the car, original delivery by the only Yenko dealer ever in Canada, Mo Carter's dealership in Hamilton Ontario..

Am pretty sure this was the default transmission for any of the BBCs. You had to order a TH400 or an M20/21/22, as appropriate, at extra charge.

It was. I have posted a photo of my LeMans Blue 69 SS427 Chevelle on here several times over the years. That car in fact started life as an L34, 3-speed car. It was not long after I bought it that a 2xfour, 427 and M22 were installed.
