Default Very Cool '76 Laguna S-3 Restomod

I never thought I'd use cool and '76 Laguna in the same sentence, but boy, this is a well done machine. Love the recessed exhaust tips in the rear bumper...someone put a ton of time into this build.

Strangely, it has what appears to be a 4-speed setup but the seller insists it's a Turbo 350....

I raced one light to light from Quincy (MA) to Hull in my 2 bbl glide '68 Lemans. We were dead even. Finally he yelled over to me, I'm almost out of gas, and we went our separate ways. Man the 80s were fun.

Hmmph. I like it!

I'd love to know more about that deck lid spoiler.

I'm probably going to need one as I approach 150 mph in the quarter and have been keeping my eyes peeled for nice executions.

I like this one on the SEMA car, but I would lay it back a bit (it looks more like an "air brake").

The interior looks restored - are there kits for seat covers and door panels for these on the market? Interesting and clean execution with a mix of new and old.

Doors panels and seats look original to me, but that dash pad is definitely a re-pop (the grain is not right).

Remote passenger side mirror is interesting.

Mine is remote drivers side, manual passenger. The passenger side mirror is pretty worthless, too, as it doesn't adjust inboard enough to actually see what is behind you.

They are cool, but they are HEAVY.

I think the swivel bases were 60 lbs each.

My seats are now sitting on aluminum channel.

That spoiler on the green car sure look like a late 1980s Monte Carlo SS spoiler.
