This is different than an original 70 -72 Chevelle 4 core radiator top plate. It looks like the GM replacement with the threaded hole that was originally made for a Chevrolet Pickup truck or Suburban with a 4 core crossflow radiator.

Ad does not state original this is a later GM replacement not the assembly line type which would cost more than double the price of this one and this will work on a chevelle.

I meant no disrespect by my post. Sorry if I offended you. The only way I know is from experience. I purchased this same part for my frame off LS-6 and was told by a Judge at MCACN 2017 when it was judged. You have a great NOS piece here that is fairly priced, I think I paid $350.00 for mine back in 2011.
