Default Praying for everyone in that storm path last night !!

Hoping everyone was able to come thru that. The candle factory collapse in Mayfield KY is disturbing to read about with, possibly, 100 people inside.
I texted Freddie, as he is between Mayfield and Bowling Green but he is far enough north of the path that there isn't much damage around him and he is OK. He didn't say they were without power, but did say there is no TV or internet, so had no idea how bad the storm was around him.

----Living thru the wind up here on the Saint Clair river right now, and its about 30mph and above, maybe way above. Had that been snow last night instead of driving rain I'd still be digging out, but right now, against all odds it's in the low 60's. I feel lucky!....Bill S

Default Same line

The same line of storms that hit Mayfield came through my county. My neighborhood has minimal damage but few miles east maybe two tornados touched down in the city of Danville, Ky. but no major damage or personal injuries.
May Gods Grace be with the folks in Mayfield.

We got about 16" of snow. My son leaves for work at 5 am, so I was out plowing at 9pm so he could get out of the driveway. We had about 10" then and I was not happy about this weather. Waking up this morning and learning of the tragedies elsewhere, my 2 hours of cleaning out snow today is nothing.

A tornado touched down about a mile from me and destroyed a business and damaged a few houses. The town of Bremen is about 10 minutes from me and they have several deaths, including a 5 month old baby. A guy that I work with completely lost his house. My place is untouched and all of my family is fine. I thank God for that. tv and internet are working again.

Default Terrible!

I lived my first 24 years in Illinois and got a small taste of tornadoes and was terrified of their strength.

The drone going over Mayfield Kentucky today is Unbelievable!

I pray for those people that had to endure this devastation and the loss of life.

Chris.

Thankfully, the tornadoes missed me, but the devastation across the western part of the state is amazing.
