Default Cam for L78 Camaro

I'm in the process of doing a frame off restoration on a 1969 L78 Camaro. Car is numbers correct and when the restoration is completed I don't think it will be driven much. I would like to put a little larger cam in the car to give it alittle more "rump rump" Looking for some suggestions on what I should do. One question I had was how would a cam with ZL-1 specs work for this application.

Thanks,

Scott

Default Re: Cam for L78 Camaro

The ZL-1 cam may pose some idle & vacuum problems for you.
A safer bet might me an L-88 cam. I have plans to put an
L-88 into a Camaro one day......
