66 SS Chevelle roll eyes BAT
It’s just simply amazing that people bid like this without knowing anything regarding REAL 66 SS L-78’s. and the comments! OMG I’ll bet he has no idea what Tranny and Rear is the car and no idea if original to the car or how to verify any of it. But it says Numbers Matching LOL
Buyer Beware indeed. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...lle-ss-396-24/ |

Pretty funky engine stamp. But the numbers do "match".
Seller is in Charlie's back yard.

I'm thinking the Fremont built cars of this vintage did have rather funky-looking engine stamps

OMG
Stop the Insanity. LOL the bidding!! SMH AT LEAST someone called the seller out on what his interpretation of Numbers Matching means. He doesn’t know the Tire Size so I’m confident he probably knows everything else. |

Interesting. That car is not too far from me. I'm about 20 miles away. I've never seen it at any shows, but then again not many shows have happened over the past couple years and it seems to be a somewhat recent state transplant.

$95K plus fees.
I got a bridge I’m going to be listing on BAT next week. A $52K car on its best day. We will see this one again. I’m sure of it. |

$95K SOLD!!! I think a real 67 L78 sold in February for $92,500. It also had a lot of incorrect things but the stamp looked better than this one!
