Default 2008 Ford Shelby GT500 Convertible

Anyone have any experience with one of these? Never owned a Ford in my years of older muscle cars or other toys but thinking about checking one out nearby that's for sale that might be fun for cruising around on occasion.............thanks.

While I've never driven one, I know folks who owned them and loved them. Reliable, big horsepower.

I have a 2007 Shelby GT 500 and I love it as much today like the day I ordered it new.
Just has that sweet Old School look and 500 HP is plenty for me to get around.
Still like this look over the Challenger or Camaro IMO, even though I have a 1970 Chevelle as an Old school car I still dig the Shelby's over the other two companies for the modern muscle cars.

YES, Upper Pulley, A Open Air cleaner System and a 3" cat back exhaust gives you another 100 HP for under $1200 which are all bolt on you can do in the garage.

I did not do this because I feel the 500 HP is more then enough IMO

They can be monsters with some simple mods. A friend did the pulley mod along with a few other things and his convertible was buckling both rear quarter panels!
