This shifter is original to a 68 Nova I own. It looks a lot like yours. Original Saginaw 4 speed car with console. There is no "T" on this one.

Small block return spring setup is like the pic on page 1. BB is different setup, the way Tom Williams explained.

I think those Nova Muncie sticks were 68 to 71 Nova as the 1972 Nova SS350 used the Saginaw 4 speed. The 1972 Nova SS 350 was down on HP and used the Saginaw 4 sp trans and 10 bolt rear

The last 12 bolt usage was on the 71 Manual shift Nova SS.
