Default Old crate motor.Any risk?

I'm helping a friend sell 2 LS2 crate motors. The motors are still in the crate and complete with intake, pan, plugs etc.The motors have been sitting in a warehouse for 3 years.I have a buyer but he is concerned there will be problems because the motors have been sitting so long.I don't see a problem if the motor is fogged and primed before startup.Any thoughts?
Thanks

Depends. Is it good dry storage. Check with the GM dealer to find if they have recomendations for storing one of these LS2, and if any were these followed. Adding a fogging oil after the fact will not help as that should have been done at the start of the three year storage.
